Cheesy Artichoke Tart
This is my new favorite tart! If you are my guest, for sure you will try it out ;) Artichokes are nutritious, an excellent source of fiber, vitamin K, folate, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium.
Ingredients :
- 1 egg
- 1 puff pastry
- 20 gr capers
- 100 gr creme fraiche
- 200 gr canned artichoke hearts (in oil), drained
- some cheese (I used grated mozzarella, also ricotta is nice)
- sesame seeds - optional
Time :
- Prepare : 5 minutes
- Cook : 20 minutes
Method :
Score the edges of the dough to create a frame
Brush the “frame” with egg wash (egg & water) and sprinkle some sesame
Mix the remaining of the egg with the cheese & creme fraiche
Spread the cheese mixture over the dough , up to the frame
Add some salt and cumin over it
Top it with capers and artichokes and add it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes
Cut into slices and enjoy. Is super tasty both warm and cold.
