Chocolate Cherry Energy Balls
Perfect raw vegan healthy snack to start the day with!
Ingredients :
Energy Balls :
- 1 cup dates
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup fresh cherries (pitted)
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate flakes
Topping :
- coconut and/or dark chocolate flakes, eatable rose petals
Time :
- Prep time : 5 minutes
- Cook time : 25 minutes (incl. 15 mins fridge time)
Method :
Add the dates, oatmeal, almonds and cherries to the food processor and blend until you have an even texture.
Add some chocolate flakes and mix with a spoon to ensure it is spread evenly.
Place the composition in the fridge for about 15 minutes after which you can start creating energy bites by grabing a small handful and rolling it into energy balls.
Roll the balls in the desired topping and then store in an air-tight container for up to a week, in the fridge.
