Poland, Krakow - where to eat and drinks
Kraków is the second-largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland, full of history, beautiful streets and buildings, friendly people and many restaurants with great food. I will share in this article with you the restaurants that I was and liked, in the order of preference.
Folga - this restaurant is all about sharing very tasty and aesthetic food. They had many fish options and loved every bite of the tasting menu. My favorite restaurant so far.
Karakter - I was attracted to visit this place due to it s name, but in the end turned out to be a very good idea : a cozy, friendly and tasty place! Will def come back!
Adam Gessler - very elegant place situated in the heart of the Old Jewish Town with very friendly staff and big portions of delicious local food. Have enjoyed the fresh hering, jewish tomato soup and the traditional potato pancakes stuffed with mushrooms.
Zalipianki - restaurant of famous Ewa Wachowicz (Miss Poland 1992) . Have been here quite few times - very central located, modern and beautiful restaurant with many tasty options. I enjoyed here following dishes : herring, cheese plate for starter, fish dishes and a mushroom flatbread.
Here - me with Ewa Zalipianki, the owner.
Zazie Bistro - a cute place with international/french cuisine. I enjoyed here very much the shrimps in panko, goat cheese and onion jam, octopus and salmon.
Cargo - Grill & Deli - very spacious place specialized in meat, but also with an extensive list of fish/vegetarian options available. I enjoyed very much the tuna steak and the side dishes - lovely!
Bianca - is a cozy, comfortable restaurant opposite to the St Mary’s Church, in the Main Market Square. If the weather allows, it has a cute terrace with the view on the city center. Food was delicious, service very good and fast. Will come back! Loved the fresh lemonade, the trout carpaccio and the grilled octopus! Also the brodetto and pasta looked very tasty!

Mezzalians - this is a restaurant recommended by my lebanese colleagues for having authentic tasty lebanese food. Everything was amazingly delicious and the vibe of the place was very chill and warm. A must try!
Morskie Oko - the perfect place if you want to have a traditional evening - from the cute rustic decor of the location to the live music and the menu with a variety of tasty traditional polish dishes. Loved it.
Miedzymiastowa - tasty burgers, pizza and rainbow cocktails served from a huge bar = perfect recipe for a fun night in the old city centre of Krakow.
Perogarnia Krakowiacy - ideal place in the old town for a quick bite of traditional polish pierogi (dumplings).
Nova - international cuisine in a nice location.

Bars - Krakow is known for its nightlife so here are my recommendations so far :
Sababa - this is an absolutely hidden gem in Kazmierz, Krakow. I fell in love with it the moment I put foot in. It is situated on the last floor of a historical building and has a very intimate vibe. It is a house with different rooms where the “kitchen” is this beautiful bar where amazing cocktails are being prepared. The bartenders were very friendly and you could see how much they loved their job - they were very attent to the details and asked many questions to help you tailor your drinks. Will definetly come back!
Tagcocktails - I was told that this is one of the best cocktail bar in Europe and I must admit that the cocktails were great. The interior has a lovely art gallery vibe, where you can comfortably sit in the chairs and sip from your drink.
Scandale Royal - was a very nice place with great shots and cocktails.
